As a 3D scanning service provider, we specialize in capturing products in 3D without contact and with a particularly high accuracy of up to 0.01 mm. Our 3D scanning service distinguishes between technical 3D scans for industry and 3D scans with texture of products of all kinds.
With 3D scans for industry, the focus is on data acquisition and the measurement of any components. The data is usually collected in order to assess the accuracy of the 3D scan or to be able to reproduce older components. In such cases, Scanmotion, as a 3D scan service provider, creates high-precision data of the component as a 3D scan. Depending on requirements, we then deliver the finished 3D scan data or, if desired, we can also provide reverse engineering services, i.e. create reverse engineering so that components can be easily reproduced. We can also create technical drawings of the components on request. We are also happy to provide 3D scanning services for design objects, for example to further develop a design item after the 3D scan.
It is often necessary to scan products in 3D with texture. The reasons for this are very different. In most cases, however, such 3D scans are carried out for marketing reasons, for example to be able to show products in 3D on the Internet in a freely movable way or to be able to present them in different views on any media. As a 3D scan service provider, we have already scanned products from a wide variety of sectors in 3D. From technical devices scanned with texture 3D for e-commerce to artifacts from museums and body parts for medical studies, almost everything has come under our 3D scanner. Consulting 3D Scan
Why do you need a 3D scan and what do you want to achieve? Which 3D scanning process is the right one for your project? Is the 3D scan needed “yesterday” or will it take some time? Resolution? 3D scan service
As a 3D scan service provider, we carry out the actual 3D scan either at our premises or at your premises. If the items are ready for dispatch, please send them to our address. As soon as the 3D scan has been completed, we will send you the 3D data. Once the order has been completed, your items will be returned to you. The 3D scans are non-contact. Your items are in safe and good hands with us.
Reverse engineering
Do you need services other than a 3D scan? Do you want to process the scanned products further, change the design or adjust the dimensions? To do this, the data must be further processed using the reverse engineering process. We will be happy to advise you on this and carry out the further processing of the data for you by means of the necessary reverse engineering.
On request, we can also create technical drawings from the 3D data.
Online presentation of 3D models
Do you want the 3D scanned products to be presented online as a photorealistic 3D model? Visible on all conceivable devices, including mobile devices? We will do the necessary work for you and present your products online in the right light for you. Texts, images or links can also be integrated to explain the products.
With the 3D scan of a coat of arms, we would like to discuss the accuracy and possibilities of 3D scanning. The coat of arms shown here is only 30 x 30 mm in size. The intricacies of the engraving are barely visible to the eye. With a very high-resolution 3D scan, we have succeeded not only in obtaining data for the reconstruction, but also in revealing details in the engraving that are barely visible under normal circumstances.
Non-contact 3D detection
Valuable or unique exhibits should be recorded as gently as possible. With our high-resolution scanning systems, we therefore not only work contact-free, but also with an accuracy of up to 0.01 mm. This means that products of all kinds can not only be viewed virtually (also for mobile devices) and touched, but can also be scientifically analyzed if required thanks to their outstanding quality. Photos for print? High-resolution photos for print can also be rendered from the finished 3D file. Such 3D files can also be produced even if the product to be shown does not yet exist. In such cases, we do not scan the product in 3D, but model it according to your specifications.
The 3D views naturally work on all devices, including mobile devices. With a current smartphone, you can also beam the article into the room using AR. Simply click on AR in the player and follow the instructions.
AR and download another app to your cell phone? Not with us! You can use AR simply by clicking on the AR symbol. There is no need to install an APP, making it extremely USER-friendly. We will be happy to advise you.
On request, we can also supply 3D files in glTF / glb format, optimized and data-reduced, of course.
