The item is scanned using laser scanning or photogrammetry. As a result, we first obtain a very large number of scanning points, which produce a so-called point cloud. In the next step, noise and errors are removed, the scan is optimized and the point cloud is finally processed into a 3D STL data model (or OBJ etc.). If a scan with texture is required, this is also optimized in various work steps and delivered as a JPG together with the 3D file. Other formats are of course possible on request.
