Reverse engineering using examples
We often have customers with parts from mechanical engineering or technical products that need to be scanned. The scans then need to be further developed or modified. However, this is not possible with a pure STL 3D scan file. For example, in order to further process or modify a part from mechanical engineering that has been scanned in 3D, it must be reverse engineered. There are different methods for this depending on the application and also depending on the scanned part.

Here we go into more detail about the different procedures:
In the following 3D views, we show you 3D scans of various types that have already been traced. The more complex the geometry of an article, the more complex the respective traceability. If you commission us to perform a traceability, please let us know which software you would like to use to further process the traced article.
