Innanzitutto, acquisiamo la geometria con uno scanner 3D ad alta risoluzione (come nuvola di punti o mesh). Successivamente, ne ricostruiamo un modello CAD tecnico \u2013 sia come geometria di superficie esatta (NURBs) o come modello volumetrico modificabile (con cronologia), che pu\u00f2 essere ulteriormente utilizzato nei programmi CAD.
